Role Purpose

• Develop and manage ERM Framework and sub procedures to enable the implementation of risk management plan that support and improve BAB business in the industry.
• Ensure that risks are delt with as part of the normal business
• Assist in Risk Management Committee (“RMC”) reporting.
• Support and advisory role to Risk Focal Persons and relevant BAB staff / crews.

Key Accountabilities

System Implementation

• Proper implementation of ERM Framework to ensure consistency of risk management practices in the group and integration into existing decision making processes and the overall strategic direction of the company.
• Implement risk management plan/programs to ensure all risks identified are addressed and risk impacts are minimized through proper mitigations.
• Proactively identify risk exposures, pre-empt and unravel potential risk scenario on critical business functions and processes.

System Monitoring

• Ensure timely performance of risk exercises and proper maintenance of the company’s risk register.
• Analyse and monitor the progress of the management actions of each division and ensure they are on track with their risk management initiatives.

Communication

• Assist in ensuring effective communication in implementation and reporting or ERM.
• Assist in ensuring an awareness culture on ERM is created throughout the Group through risk activities and programs.

Risk Reporting

• Provide support on the reporting to the Management and RMC.
• Provide support on the production of monthly performance reporting on risk management (Risk Dashboard).
• Support the analyses of Business Unit Risk Reports.
• Support on developing and maintaining BAB risk profile (Risk Dashboard).

Key Performance Information

• Assist in ensure reliable risk information providing current, accurate and complete information on risk management at all times for management information, deliberation and decision making.
• Monitor from time to time relevance of key performance information being reported according to the industry standards.

Staff Development

• Motivate, train and counsel risk representatives on performance /skill / competency improvement to achieve the department’s goal as well as to be aligned towards the Group’s goals and success.

Relationship Building

• Develop and maintain strong working relationship with the business units, corporate divisions and project management teams to ensure all planning requirements and ERM are followed through timely and accurately.

Requirements :

Education and Business Background

• Diploma/ Degree level or a detailed background in engineering in the offshore or onshore oil and gas industry.
• At least 10 years of Risk Management experience.
• Hands-on risk management within the Oil and Gas industry.

Experience

• Relevant oil & gas experience, offshore construction, industry in EPC project with min 3 years in risk management role within the oil and gas business.
• Able to lead and deliver by example, diving in to details when needed.
• Displays a relentless drive to deliver on set goals and objectives.
• Measures performance against clear benchmarks.Able to make and see through tough decisions.
• Communicates openly and effectively.
