Description :

  • Lead and manage the global commercial team
  • Ensure all Sales & Business Development commitments are delivered
  • Develop, lead and manage all commercial strategies related to FPSO / FSRU business identifying other product and services offering in the long term
  • Define key targets for a 3-5 year period
  • Drive Business Development activities (including partnerships, agents, and strategic investments, global marketing, brand awareness, tender submission, FEED, securing FPSO/FSRU contracts and commercial risk on project costs and operational margins)
  • Drive sales/contract negotiations (Finance and Legal) and harmonize client project team and BA Project Teams
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve overall organizational objectives
  • Be the global escalation point of contact between Client and Project or Operations team to resolve any major issues
  • Oversee the management, coordination and timely release of all commercial reporting activities for the Group
  • Develop commercial modelling tools, set up performance measure and conduct commercial risk analysis to support strategic commercial decisions.
  • Undertake commercial risk assessment for all Sales, Business Development and Operations and maintain an effective risk mitigation / management strategy
  • Plan, identify, review and monitor manpower requirements within commercial organization
  • Coach, develop and mentor high performers and future leaders within commercial team – create high performance culture with strong team focus

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible and accountable for the following:
  • All commercial Budgets and sales targets i.e. revenue targets, number of new contracts and FEED submissions
  • Stakeholder management from a business development, sales and after sales perspective to ensure a consistent and excellent client experience across all client interactions
  • Global FPSO / FSRU Strategy i.e. seek out new markets and source for new client contracts by establishing and developing networks and independently identifying and developing relevant resources for sales and business development
  • HSSEQ compliance
  • People agenda such as KPI setting, individual development plan, hiring, staff engagement, performance management, talent management and succession planning.

Requirements :

  • Hold at least BSc level in Engineering; and/or MBA
  • Exceptional client management skills and the ability to grow business networks with people of all types and backgrounds
  • Demonstrates a drive to develop and deliver a vision and strategies to establish global direction for the organization
  • Outstanding in leading and managing teams to achieve targets
  • Great at engaging team and other business units and foster strong relationships
  • Sound knowledge in finance and commercial risk principles
  • Strong presentation skills – formal, informal; public events to the board room
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Other languages spoken in target region are an advantage
  • Experience >15 years in offshore O&G with deep knowledge of FPSO and FSRU business
  • Strong track record in growing revenues and achieving business development and sales targets in the FPSO / FSRU business
  • Strong track record in developing internal teams
  • Strong evidence in delivering sales and business development results, and an ability to drive execution
  • Verifiable client networks in FPSO / FSRU business
  • Proven history of success selling in the oil & gas industry
  • Understanding of Legal Framework / Contracts
  • Experience in risk assessments for business development, tender development and proposal submission
  • Verifiable evidence in speaking comfortably, engagingly and with influence in all forms of public forums
  • Had a strong record in quickly establishing credibility across the company
  • and engaging others to influence, guide and motivate
  • Having high levels of emotional intelligence, maturity and the ability to command respect and lead
  • Exhibiting leadership skills that inspire respect, engagement and demonstrate the desire to build the capabilities of others
