Description :

• Checking of materials in terms of quality and quantity and provide prompt report of any discrepancies.
• Monitor the work progress by carry out the joint site inspection with sub-contractor to ensure works are properly done according to set standards and there is no delays.
• Witness material testing, site valuation, joint measurement & setting out.
• Monitoring inventories/ materials movement and order materials as needed.
• Checking all construction drawing & specification and report to Project Manager of any discrepancies.
• Establish and implement work schedules and adjusted them to meet project deadlines.
• Liaise with property developer for defect rectification work during the Defect Liabilities Period.
• Responsible for handling multiple site portfolios and for all operational activities, emergency response, safety, collection, regulatory compliance, re-development, customer interaction, and development.
• Manage sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting sub-contractors; monitoring and controlling performance.
• Meet operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying construction management system improvements.
• Accomplish construction project results by defining project purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating staff and sub-contractors; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Ensure that all documents related to ISO are in order.
• Perform any duty as and when required by the immediate superior/ HOD.

Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Civil Engineering / Architecture technical or equivalent.
• Computer literate : MS Office, MS Project.
• Good oral and written proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia. Able to converse Chinese language is an added advantage.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience.
• Self-motivated person and able to work independently.
• Able to work under pressure and long hours.
• Must possess own transport.
