Description :

• Perform inspection on the tools and equipment used by contractor.
• Ensure safety requirements are met based on JKKP standards.
• Assist Project Manager and Safety Officer, identify any safety issues during project execution.
• Monitor the movement of workers, materials, goods, plant and machinery into and out of the project sites.
• Responsible and ensure overall project compliance to quality, safety standard and condition of contract.
• Plan, assign & supervise safety matters and requirement at all sites.
• Ensure all work sites are safe and compliance with the CIDB requirements & company safety policies.
• Ensure contractors and workers are complying with the safety requirements at site.
• Conduct tool box meeting and maintain good housekeeping at site at all times.
• Comply with all Safety & Health requirements in Customer sites.
• Check inventory of the first aid box weekly. Inspect the tools to be used at site, weekly or whenever there is new tool.
• Ensure all workers are wearing PPE (personal protective equipment).
• Conduct safety & toolbox meeting
• Liaise with local authorities
• Promote safety awareness at site. Ensure all staff comply with the QESH requirement.
• Assist On-site housekeeping standard with inspection, send the inspection report to contractors for improvement.
• Ensure that all documents related to ISO are in order.
• Perform any duties as and when required by the superior/ HOD.

Requirements :

·         Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Others or equivalent.

·         Yellow Book Holder, SSS Certificate, Scaffolding L2 Certificate, Familiar With the Act & Regulations.

·         Good oral and written proficiency in English, Chinese language is an added advantage.

·         At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

·         Good interpersonal and oral communication skills.

·         Familiar with the Act and regulations that apply to the work.

·         Strong monitoring of personnel to ensure project deadlines met.

·         Able to work under pressure and long hours.
