Description :

1. Handle all GST and related corporate tax matters of the Group.

2. Ensure the entire Group of company is in compliance with all tax & audit requirements.

3. Responsible for Group's financial & management for the Group accounting, budgetary, taxation, credit administration, treasury and management reporting functions.

4. Work closely with operation teams, auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers, company's lawyer, government bodies and relevant parties.

5. Organising the Credit Control meeting with all the Units Leaders.

6. Planning and managing cash flow requirements of Account Payables and Account Receivable.

7. Ensure sufficient operating funds are available for timely settlement of payable and wages.

8. Ensure all monthly and closing activities and review of the financial statements are completed timely and accurately.

9. To assess and review the Group's collection processes.

10. Liaise with the accounts for proper documents before any payments released.

11. Plan and manage workload within the section to ensure proper execution of tasks and meet the department objectives.

12. Other works scopes as at when instructed by Financial Controller.

 

Requirements :

  • Minimum 8 years working experience in related field.
  • Accounting qualification in the form of a degree in Economics or Commerce at recognized and well-regarded tertiary education institution is essential
  • Possess knowledge and experience in logistics industry
  • Membership of either the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ACA level).
  • Society of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA level) is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer service skills and highly developed analytical and numeracy skills
  • Advanced computing skills including MS Excel, access and word
  • Ability to question and think laterally and Policy and procedures driven.
