Description :

Overall responsibilities for the smooth running of the Project Management, Finance Administration (AP/GL/Claims/etc.), Governance, Operations and Business Analytical, Budgeting/forecasting and reporting, Assets Management, Regulation and Compliance on Tax and Payroll. To be accountable to resolve all related problems and issues arising there from with all available resources, always ensuring at all times that, in implementing solutions, company assets are safeguarded, Group Policies are adhered to, and that all applicable laws (Companies Act & Regulations, Income Tax laws & Rulings are complied with), deadlines set by company internally and Income Tax, EPF are all met with no errors.

Provide guidelines, instructions and assistance to Operating Units’ SVPs and General Managers in the formulation of the Annual  5-year Management Plans, Internal Budgets and Revised Forecast. Strict deadlines apply for this work.

Requirements :

Professional Qualification 1. A recognized Professional Accounting Qualification 2. Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) At least 10 years post qualifying experience in a multinational or public quoted company. 1. Knowledge of the Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs) issued by the Malaysian Accounting Standard Board (MASB) 2. Knowledge of all applicable direct income tax legislations and rulings such as Income Tax Act, Incentives, Real Property Gain Tax Act, Revenue Guidelines & Public Rulings etc. 3. Knowledge of all applicable indirect taxes legislations and regulations such as Service Tax Act, Sales tax Legislations etc. 4. Knowledge of Companies Act & Regulations 5. Knowledge of EPF And SOCSO laws 6. Knowledge of computerized accounting systems (DBSi/CODA) 7. Knowledge of risk management standards, methodology and processes. 8.
