- Manage financial functions of the company and ensure that financial reports are prepared in conformity with the Group’s financial and accounting policies and relevant accounting standards.
- Provide accurate and timely monthly accounts and management information for decision making of the management.
- To proactively identify key issues, risks and opportunities and make recommendations to management on financial and non-financial matters.
- Ensure effective internal controls, implement effective financial policies, guidelines and procedures.
- To lead all closing activities, monthly, quarterly and yearly to ensure all reports are completed on time and accurately.
- To co-ordinate the company secretarial matters with company secretary.
- Co-ordinate with external auditors and tax agents to ensure timely completion of the annual audit and submission of tax returns.
- Overall responsible for GST obligation of the company
- To perform financial analysis and collection gap implication on account receivables and operating cashflow. Oversee the activities of the company and to assist credit control staff on the collections.
- To handle day to day operation matters of the Finance/Accounting department.
Assist Finance Director in ad hoc assignments.
Degree or professional qualification in Accounting/Finance or qualification from a recognized accounting body such as ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience in which at least 3 years of audit experience gained in one of the Big-4 accounting firms.
Strong analytical, writing, problem solving skills and inter-personal communication skills.
Proficient in EXCEL & experience SAP.
