Description :

• Supporting the Babakimpo Brunei team in implementing the communications strategy and achieving key performance metrics
• Helping with development of integrated marketing campaigns
• Developing and working on offline marketing events
• Creating and updating media lists and reports
• Monitoring news and industry trends, with a keen eye for additional opportunities to secure media coverage
• Assisting with preparation of press materials for distribution
• Researching new media channels and contacts
• Creating and updating media lists
• Pitching traditional and online media (under direction of supervisor)

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing public relations, journalism or another relevant field
• Interest in advertising and public relations, with a particular interest in media relations and online content
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent in English; fluency in Chinese or Bahasa Melayu languages is a plus
• Flexibility and ability to handle fast-paced environment
• Highly accountable and able to meet deadlines
• A self-starter with excellent time management
• Must be passionate about the smartphone industry
• Willingness and ability to travel often and internationally
