Responsibilities:

·         Assist in handling Facultative Reinsurance, MNRB-Voluntary Cession and Excess of Loss Treaty Claims Recoveries and other related matters

·         Prepare documentation for reinsurance claims recoveries, premium adjustments and issuing of debit and credit notes to reinsurers.

·         Prepare monthly reinsurer debtors and creditors journals, outstanding aging listing and other accounting reports.

·         Compile and update of various monthly claims outstanding and paid statistical reports

·         Assist in the reconciliation of reinsurers’ statement of accounts.

·         Assist in the preparation of various monthly/quarterly/yearly reports for submission to BNM, PIAM & Reinsurers.

Requirements :

Possess at least a Diploma in Accountancy

·         Preferably 1 – 2 years(s) of working experience in the general insurance industry; with knowledge in Reinsurance Treaty/Facultative arrangements

·         Good knowledge in MS Office Excel & Word

Malaysian Only

·         Proficient in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
