Description :

Provides weekly/Monthly report and project updates with regards to Shore (Hub) and Fleet (Remotes) networking & satellite communication related  items.

Collaborate and work Together with System & Networking Team on Network communication improvement and Business Continuity project.

Manage and Guides Network Engineer and Administrators of Network & Satellite communication system.

Manage Data Center facility, Monitor and alert HOD on Data Center Maintenance agreements and related SLA Services. 

Manage commissioning and Maintenance of WAN & LAN Network and Infrastructure systems to meet business requirement. 

Ensure optimum, maximum uptime (availability) being achieved from present Satellite link & WAN for continual usage to Business operations. 

Provide standard guidelines and control in respective Data Centre / Computer Room. 

Recognizes and takes action when escalation and de-escalation is required for critical and urgent cases and follow designated procedures.

Project leads in appointed / undertaking project(s). 

To carry out safety and securities duties from time to time and be assigned as member of the Crisis Management Team, as and when needed.

Requirements :

Degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent.

Certification on Network, firewall, internet proxy, packet shaper, load balancer such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS, JNCIE or equivalent. 

At least 4 years’ experience in Large Scale WAN & LAN environment. Able to commission, maintain and operate complex networking environment. Satellite Communications experience is an added advantage.

Management skill in handling group of people (Technical level).

Ability to communicate with higher management level.

Strong  coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities.
