One of our client is looking for ESH engineer

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance of Departmental Audit on Environment, Health, Safety and Security.
• Inspect the workplace to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of any measures taken in compliance with the Occupational, Safety and Health Act 1994, Factories and Machinery Act 1967, Environmental Quality Act 1974, Fire Services Act 1988 or any regulations made under the Act.
• Liaison with the government authorities, i.e. DOE, Bomba, DOSH and MOH.
• Conduct accident investigation, identify the root cause and recommend measures to be taken in order to prevent the recurrence of the similar incident.
• Promote environment, health, safety and security awareness amongst employees and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) related to the environment, health, safety and security.
• Plan, schedule and implement program related to environment, health, safety and security at the workplace, such as CHRA, Noise Monitoring, LEV Monitoring, Air Emission Monitoring, First Aid Supplies, Scheduled Waste Management, Fire Safety Management, Fire and Rescue Operations, etc.
• Apply, coordinate, renew and maintain Company’s licenses related to machineries and equipment.
• Handle all matters related to the foreign workers, such as permit arrangement, contract renewal, fomema, hostel, transport arrangement, etc.

Requirements :

Requirements:

• Certificate, Diploma or Degree from DOSH/NIOSH, any other DOSH-accredited institutions, Environmental, Health & Safety Engineering, or equivalent.
• Possess valid Green Book from DOSH.
• Possess environment, health, safety and security experience in manufacturing industry.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel to both Senai and Tampoi Plant.
