Solution Specialist Job Description

As a member of the sales organization, you will work together with sales manager to generate revenues. The Sales Specialist owns the opportunity pipeline and sales execution strategies for the products and solutions based on corporate direction. The Sales Specialist role includes direct sales engagements with customers and involves collaboration with distributors and partners, and

internal resources including members of Pre-Sales Consultant, Business Development and Insight Sales. The Sales Specialist needs to leverage the existing ecosystems in their mission to accomplish the sales revenue target.

 

You will work against fixed timelines and your success will be measured by the ability to generate revenues on time on target for products/solutions based on company directions. Your tasks include:

 

• Represent company’s products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs.

• Prospect and develop up-sell/cross-sell/new business opportunities in the accounts within given industries/sectors

• Manage the overall sales process, from qualification through closing.

• Maintain a consistent and accurate account and sales lead pipeline.

• Accurate forecasting based upon realistic opportunity assessments based on internal CRM systems

• Meet quarter/annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.

• Generate leads and build relationships planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.

• Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.

• Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities

• Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered

• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction management with all respective customers

• Prepare professional, complete, concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations

• Work closely with marketing and pre-sales/consultants for day to day marketing and sales related activities

• Work closely with distributors and partners for day to day sales related activities.

Requirements :

Solution Specialist Required Education and Experience

• Bsc. Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or equivalent

• 5-7 years of Enterprise Software Sales experience

• Motivated professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas

• Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• IT Security Sales experience will be added advantage

  • Experience in working with identity and access management technology vendor
  • Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)
  • Data Access Governance (DAG)
  • Access Management (AM)
