Main duties and responsibilities
a) Providing software application support under the supervision of the Head of IT Infrastructure & Security.
b) Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements.
c) Ensuring effective front end and back end functionality of applications.
d) Consulting with the software vendor, software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.
e) Managing code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.
f) Establishing the root causes of application errors and escalating serious concerns to the manager.
g) Keeping record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
h) Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics.
i) Providing technical support to clients and internal users in other departments.
j) Assisting with systems integrations.
k) Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures on knowledge base.
l) Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the applications.
Key competencies
• At least 5-year of Application Support experience
• At least 3-year of working experience in payment processing business
• Working experience with Linux Operating Systems and Oracle Database
• Working knowledge in payment clearing and settlement processes
